Magic Town (1947) - (Movie Clip) Upon Further Examination

“Rip” Smith (James Stewart), a poll-taker posing as an insurance agent in Grandview, which he believes is the perfect model American town, tangles with Jane Wyman as Mary, acting editor of the local paper, who criticized his earlier intrusion on a town meeting, her kid brother (Mickey Roth), dazzled by his hoop skills, interrupting, in Magic Town, 1947.
