Cast & Crew
Stan Hollister, Doc Brady, and Old Timer, in charge of moving a vast flock of sheep over range, are deserted by their herders. Discovering that there is pasture and water at Spanish Acres, a grant of land belonging to Juan Castinado, Stan goes to the ranch to make a deal. Castinado is reluctant to allow Indians to be used as sheepherders, as he blames them for his many losses. Meanwhile, Stan falls in love with Rosita, Castinado's daughter, and is about to succeed with her when the barn is burned and Castinado believes Indians are responsible. Hearing that Coulard holds mortagages on the ranch, Stan investigates and finds that Coulard's men constitute the "Indian menace," but Coulard kills Standing Bear and blames Stan; the children--Old Timer and Emily--having seen the killing, tell the Indians, who believe them. Thus, Stan is saved, Spanish Acres is restored, and the Indians are hired as herders.
