In 1955 Parisian actor Claude Langmann is drafted into the French Army and forced to leave Tania, his ballerina girl friend. Through a friend, Claude obtains a Paris assignment; but he is soon transferred to one of the provinces, and there he and his new friends are trained by a Corsican adjutant. Claude is given special privileges because he claims to have a friend who knows Brigitte Bardot. He is then assigned as a medic to Morocco, where the Arabs are rebelling against French rule. There, Claude declares all of his friends medically unfit because of various imaginary illnesses.
