The Weinstein Company picked up domestic distribution rights at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival for a reported sum of $3 million. The deal was nullified due to a difference of vision between Vaughn and The Weinstein Company on how to market and release the film. Picturehouse and New Line International acquired world rights in April, 2007.
