An investigator interrogates two women about the illegal activities of Dr. Silo, a phony psychiatrist who takes advantage of his position to blackmail married women into gratifying his deviant sexual desires. Mrs. Stapleton tells Dr. Silo of visiting a motel with a single friend and two men they met on a plane. Both couples shared the same bed, and the women switched sexual partners. Dr. Silo threatens to inform Mrs. Stapleton's husband unless she submits to his advances. Disturbed by his first adolescent sexual experience, Silo has developed unhealthy sexual attitudes through listening to his patients recount their sexual problems. Another patient, Mrs. Voorhees, enjoys a passionate affair with Dr. Silo while her husband is away on business trips. Silo goes to Mrs. Voorhees' house and watches her niece having sex with a young neighbor. The youth becomes aware of Silo's presence and flees, mistaking him for Mr. Voorhees. Silo then tries to rape the niece, and he is discovered by Mrs. Voorhees, who knocks him out with a poker and telephones police to expose him as a fraud.
