Cast & Crew
A slighty-built beatnik cavorts and clowns his way through everything he does. In contrast, a stout black woman moves around her apartment naked, expressing vitality in all of her actions, whether shaving with an electric razor, making a telephone call, or playing with her cat. She fights affectionately with the beatnik; and later, after a grotesque ball, the two embrace and collapse amidst the disorder of her apartment.
The film was first shown in rough cut and was unfinished at the time of the filmmaker's death in 1964. A posthumous release version, prepared by Howard Everngam, opened in New York March 14, 1968; running time: 71 min.
