Cast & Crew
After the police arrest Elena Neal during a routine raid on a nightclub, the judge at her trial realizes that she is a naïve, inexperienced young woman and frees her on the condition that she does not become a repeat offender. Ellen takes a job as a maid with the Fullerton family, but finds herself pursued not only by the majordomo, but by the handsome young master, Jorge, and his brazen friends. Elena winds up pregnant and gives birth to a baby boy, but rejects Sr. Fullerton's desire to buy her silence, confident that Jorge will not forget his promises to her despite the fact his family name will be involved in a scandal. While investigating Elena's past, the Fullerton's lawyer discovers that she is actually his own daughter. Elena's mother had been from humble circumstances and had left the lawyer to avoid impeding his chances for a brilliant career. Upon learning of these revelations, Sr. Fullerton refuses to become further involved in the sordid, sentimental events. Tired of being compromised by all the hypocrisy, Elena withdraws the lawsuit by which she hoped to have her child's paternity established and thus wins from Jorge the response she wanted.
