Cast & Crew
Richard "Dick" Vanderfleet, a wealthy college student, loves Dora Lane so deeply that, unknown to her, he sends her father Colonel Lane money to support the old chemist's development of a new explosive. Ann Wilson, the cast-off mistress of Dick's fellow student, Paul Denton, visits the dormitory to warn Paul of her brother's wrath, and when Paul hears approaching footsteps, he hides Dora in Dick's room, where she is discovered by college officials. Expelled from Stanford, disinherited and shunned by his beloved Dora, Dick injures a man in a fight, and to escape disgrace, he exchanges identities with Brown, his chauffeur, unaware that Brown has deserted the army. While Dick is experiencing army life, Paul, anxious to obtain Colonel Lane's valuable formula, courts Dora, who still refuses to see Dick. In the end, Ann explains everything to Dora, who happily returns to the man who really loves her.
