A English thief, along with his American compatriot, lives in luxury at the expense of English high society. At a party on their yacht, the two plan to steal the jewelry of a wealthy, older woman. The English thief goes back to the woman's home to steal her prized necklace, only to discover that her beautiful daughter has already stolen it. The thief falls in love with the daughter, and saves the young woman from jail when a Scotland Yard inspector is called in.
The film was also shown in New York in April 1934 under the title Leave It to Smith. Modern sources include Producer Michael Balcon, Design Alfred Junge and Costumes Gordon Conway in the production.
