Cast & Crew
THE TALE OF ELLA: Ella, a young nightclub performer late for rehearsal, forces her way into a taxi occupied by a shy young man and charms him into accompanying her to the club. He turns out to be Hubert Parker, a famous American producer whom Ella has been trying to meet. Not only does he sign her for his new film, but he marries her as well. THE TALE OF ANTONIA: Antonia, the happily-married wife of an eminent plastic surgeon, learns that Christian, a former lover, has made disparaging remarks about her love-making ability. She decides to teach him a lesson by systematically seducing him. Once she is certain of his renewed infatuation, she calls him a bore and returns to her husband. THE TALE OF FRANÇOISE: Françoise and Jacqueline are former schoolmates who have remained close friends. Jacqueline boasts of her lover's faithfulness, while the more cynical Françoise decides to find out for herself. After easily seducing him she concludes that a woman should never take a man's devotion for granted. THE TALE OF SOPHIE: Attempting to appear worldly before her classmates, the innocent Sophie invents a passionate lover. Her friends stand watch in front of her supposed love nest (in reality, the home of her best friend), while Sophie sneaks out through a window and enters the room of a young rock-and-roll singer. They fall in love and are seen by Sophie's envious friends. The next morning Sophie tries to confess the truth, but no one will believe her.
