Synopsis
Ruth Torrence, daughter of Richard Torrence, a retired capitalist, is rescued from a runaway horse by Jerry Blaine. Jerry then causes her to break her engagement to Robert Weston, who is visiting the Torrence estate, and he warns Ruth's father to guard Ruth's diamonds. Jerry learns that Weston is a thief, and he works himself into the confidence of the gang when he himself is accused of stealing the necklace. Weston and his friend Featherby are exposed as the crooks by Jerry, who reveals himself as a secret agent on their track; Jerry is thus reinstated in the good opinion of Ruth.
