Synopsis
Kelsey, chief of the black gang on a tramp steamer, continually insults Daisy Martin, a Broadway jade sailing to find refuge on a Pacific isle. The ship strikes a derelict and sinks; only three of those on board are saved: the stoker, the hooker, and a stowaway. The castaways soon run out of water, and Kelsey drowns himself in order that the other two may survive.
