Cast & Crew
At the Lazy Dollar Dude Ranch, Hoosier Hot Shots Ken, Gil, Gabe and Hezzy promise to help ranch owner Jeff Carter raise money for a neighboring tribe of Indians so that they may obtain the electric power necessary to irrigate their farms. With help from his sweetheart, Joan Dennis, Jeff plans to obtain the money by organizing an Indian Fair. To raise the $2,000 needed to pay for advertising costs, Ken, Gil and Gabe insist that Hezzy marry Clarissa Bloomsbury, a wealthy woman who wants desperately to marry Hezzy. Although Hezzy objects to the marriage, his pals ignore his concerns and propose for him. Hezzy's pals then assure him that after he borrows $2,000 from Clarissa, they will stage a fake kidnapping of him just before the wedding. Complications arise, however, when Hezzy learns that Clarissa will not come into her inheritance until after she marries. Things look bad for the Hots Shots' scheme until the Indians themselves are able to raise the necessary money and give it to Clarissa to give to Jeff. Instead of giving the $2,000 to Jeff, though, Clarissa hands it over to Hezzy, who tries to make off with it. A wild chase across the plains ensues when the Indian chief sends his tribesmen on the warpath after the Hot Shots, who have fled in an old jalopy which they cannot stop. The chase ends when the jalopy crashes into the side of a mountain. Jeff eventually receives the $2,000, and Clarissa finds happiness by marrying an old suitor. The Hot Shots celebrate by playing a concert for Jeff and Joan, who are free to resume their romance.
