Cast & Crew
During the gold rush in Alaska, Flame, a pretty dancing girl, is the chief attraction at a popular saloon in Hope City and is jealously guarded by Black Jack Hovey, the proprietor. George Fowler, a tenderfoot from the States, and Sour Dough Joe visit the saloon, and Joe warns Fowler to conceal a bulging money belt; but Black Jack, seeing the belt, directs Flame to acquire it at first opportunity. Finding Fowler broke, she reviles him, but he promises to return with a rich strike. Later, Flame discovers he has taken a job washing windows and develops an interest in him, and when he departs for the gold fields, she announces her intention of living straight. Fowler strikes it rich but is robbed in a faro game by Black Jack. Flame wins a large sum with money borrowed from Sour Dough, and when Black Jack tries to deprive her of the money, Fowler fights with him in her behalf. Flame mistakenly believes that Fowler is married but is relieved to find herself in error, and they are happily united.
