Cast & Crew
Reb, a detective for the Cattlemen's Association, is sent to an area that has been plagued by a gang of cattle rustlers. Upon arriving at his assigned town, Reb learns from the local sheriff that the suspected gang leader is saloon keeper Lenihan. Posing as a cowboy, Reb goes to Lenihan's saloon, where Big Jack Thorpe, an Indian and former college football star, is engaged in a brawl. Big Jack began the fight after Wong, the servant to ranch owner Lucille, informed him that Lenihan had cheated him out of his money and his horse in a crooked card game. After the fight, Reb and Big Jack flee to Lucille's ranch, the Double Cross. Lucille recognizes Reb as a former Northwestern football star and offers both him and Big Jack jobs. While Reb is away from the ranch, Lenihan rides to the Double Cross and proposes to Lucille, who refuses him. Frustrated, Lenihan accuses Big Jack of horse stealing and prepares to lynch him. Reb returns to the ranch in time to save Big Jack, but Lenihan raids the ranch a second time. After stealing cattle, Lenihan and his men kill several of the ranch hands and kidnap Lucille. Reb and Big Jack trail the outlaws and eventually rescue Lucille.
