Synopsis

Bob Whitely, a shell-shocked veteran who has escaped from a sanitarium, holds up the Express, and his twin brother, Jim, is arrested for the crime; in an attempt to find his brother, Jim escapes from jail soon afterward. Jim Black, the sheriff, holds up the local and kills Tommy Wilkins, the brother of Jim's fiancée, Ellen. Jim is thought to be the murderer, and the posse chases him; he makes his escape by a daring leap onto the roof of the Express. A railroad trestle is set afire by Black, and Jim saves the passengers on the train from a terrible fate by uncoupling the engine from the rest of the train. Black is revealed as the real murderer; Bob is cured of his shell shock; and Jim renews his courtship with Ellen.
