Cast & Crew
Documentary about the spent rockets, fuel tanks and millions of fragments left in space and now pelting spaceships and satellites at 20,000 mph. While this debris doesn't seem that large a concern considering the vastness of space, the windshield of a Shuttle was cracked by a simple fleck of paint. A French spy satellite was knocked out by a piece of metal from a rocket. Debris is also falling on the Earth. In 1996, a Russian satellite loaded with plutonium crashed in South America. In 1997, a woman in Oklahoma was hit by a piece of debris from an American rocket.
