Profile of bodybuilder Dave Draper. Draper, known as the "Blond Bomber," was considered the god of bodybuilders in the 1960s, before Arnold Schwarzenegger arrived on the scene. The program reveals how a skinny kid from New Jersey transformed himself into Mr. Universe and became a poster boy for the California good life, appearing in such films as the MGM movie "Don't Make Waves," starring Tony Curtis, and guest starring in popular TV programs "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "The Monkees." His bodybuilding career began to wane in 1968 and Draper struggled with serious drug and alcohol addiction, which ultimately led to a near brush with death. Now married, Draper owns two gyms, has published two books and operates a successful website.
