Synopsis
A fearless, young inmate attempts to connect with the incarcerated mother who gave her up years earlier. Treasure Lee, an African American woman, has been in and out of the juvenile detention system for as long as she can remember. Transferred on her 21st birthday to the State Facility for Women, she has one goal in mind: to meet her mother Brownie, a seasoned convict serving a life sentence. But Treasure finds that the path to reconciliation is a dangerous one.
