He continued to act in productions like the comedy "Lost in a Harem" (1944) with Bud Abbott, "The Fabulous Dorseys" (1947) and "The Music Man" (1948). Dorsey's music was also featured in "Cookie" (1989) with Peter Falk and "Cool As Ice" (1991) with Vanilla Ice. Dorsey's music was most recently featured in "Playing By Heart" (1998).
