Entering film in the early 1960s, Rosenblum is best known for his work with Sidney Lumet ("Long Day's Journey Into Night" 1962; "Fail Safe" 1964; "The Pawnbroker" 1965) and Woody Allen ("Take the Money and Run" 1969; "Sleeper" 1973; "Annie Hall" 1977). He also helmed several TV-movies, specials and episodes, including Henry Fonda's final performance in the TV-movie "Summer Solstice" (ABC, 1981).
In 1979 Rosenblum published "When the Shooting Stops...the Cutting Begins," an engaging account of his experiences in--and out of--the editing room. He taught at the graduate film school at Columbia University and also conducted summer workshops in film work in Rockport, Maine.
